SSRIs (a type of anti-depressant drug) have been killing thousands. Drug manufacturers saw this in their pre-release testing, and hid the information. Here is a web site featuring stories about vicitms, including drug-induced suicides.

TV Turnoff
They may be more gentle here, but I agree with the title of songs by Bobs, Eric Moore, and Ned's Atomic Dustbin: Kill Your Television.

The Meatrix
See past the humour to the actual threat.

From The Wilderness news
Michael Ruppert has collected an overwhelming amount of evidence that the government of the U.S.A. maintains its position of global power through substantial trade in illegal drugs. He has proven that the George W. Bush administration had knowledge that an attack such as 9-11 was going to occur, and that they allowed it to happen in order to create a reason to destroy the Taliban, which was the only obstacle preventing the U.S.A. from monopolizing the vast oil resources of central Eurasia. His presentation, "Truth and Lies about September 11th", is a must see, and is now available on video. He has generally proven--like we need more proof--that the U.S.A. has been run by very, very corrupt criminals.

UNPAC’s predecessor was the UN Decades for Women, which was formed when Manitoba women participated in the Third World Conference on Women in 1985. Ten years later, 30 Manitoba women went to Beijing for the Fourth World Conference on Women, participating in both the UN conference and the parallel NGO (non- governmental organization) Conference. They returned to Manitoba with a commitment to see the recommendations in the Platform for Action implemented. UNPAC supports the objectives of the Platform for Action by working through community action and with other organizations, locally and globally, for equality, development, and peace."

Alternative Tentacles Records
"Alternative Tentacles Records was established in June of 1979 and is most likely the longest lasting (and still active) underground record labels around. Although it is perceived by many as a 'punk' label, having released records by Dead Kennedy's and others, it is actually best known for its impact on the world of underground culture. [...] The label has continued to remain vital in its lengthy history by refusing to adhere to a formula for an easily identifiable 'Alternative Tentacles Sound.' Rather, the label has released many political spoken word releases; as well as releasing: Brazilian hardcore, bent pop, faux-country, and assorted rock & roll. The label is also well known due to its outspoken provocateur owner, talent scout and recording artist, Jello Biafra."

Focus on the Corporation: The Mokhiber-Weissman column on corporate power
The multinational corporation is the most powerful institution of our time, dominating not only global economics, but politics and culture as well. The purpose of this column is to rectify this informational shortcoming, to report and comment critically on corporate actions and plans, from particularized abuses to broad trends.
